Had a beautiful Cherry tree in my front yard that they actually killed. :(

Saw a few at my sisters yesterday while we were swimming.

What do you spray to kill them?
Or at least keep them off your trees and plants?

Use beetle traps, but put them away from the plants you want to protect. I put the tarps on the back corners of the property, they will draw beetles from a LONG ways off.

Thats what I use on my tomato plants and it works great. Anywhere to get alot of it? I can usually just find it in the "cardboard cans" that are the size of 24 ounce beers

No you can make your own traps out of Clorox jugs....and I think milk jugs
You will kill many beneficial insects when you spray....funny when I first seen your pic. I thought it had acorns.

While I was on a one-week vacation, the beatle swarms came in and tore up nearly every one my fruit trees.I sprayed them and placed two traps last Monday. I had to replace the trap bags a day later! Wow, I never knew so many beatles were on my place.

Seems like I'll be spraying every two weeks for a while.
