They do work, but are not completely effective. Have had several times that mosquitoes still came around with thermacell, but they are heavy here.

Well I have never used one so I guess I shouldn't have waited this long to get one

I like the regular scent pads. When I fire it up for the first time, the smell is instant deer season memories.

100%. I had skeeters on my the whole way in and while climbing on the velvet hunt. Got Thermacell cranked up and didn't swat a single mosquito the rest of the hunt.

Without a doubt they work I've had one for years. They work better than anything else you'll buy.

Provided you don't get a dud they work great! The newer ones seem to not get as hot and I have one that keeps going off on its own. When I hunt the swamps of LA I run two at once.

Yup I've run two in Fl quite a bit. Either way, best hunting advancement ever. I'd rather leave a gun a home than the thermacell.

I could not hunt in SC without one. I get zero bites on stand with a thermacell. It does not work well if you are moving, obviously because the "steam" has to linger for a min to keep them away.

I can literally see them like a wall about 10 feet away from the swamp. It's like wearing a bubble

I keep 2 in the truck during hunting season and a stockpile of refills. Can't hunt without it here in early season
