That and permethrin are always a essential heading into the woods. I would have been ate alive by seed ticks and skeeters last weekend during hunting on the ground with my boy if not for those two things.

Never used one but am at Presidents Island and they'll fly off with you. Bought one before coming and it saved me this afternoon. Another reason why I typically don't hunt until it cools off.

When mosquitoes get really bad and a thermacell won't cut it, 40% deet does it for me.

I place Thermacell right up there with Nexium. Both were life changing for me. LOL

I would quit bow hunting without mine.
Best piece of early season gear. Hands down.
So far not impressed but maybe that will change. I'll write up my experience when it's all over.

I have used thermacell for years. No telling how much of that bug stuff I have breathed in. It sure works well. I just hang it on this appendage growing out of my forehead and I'm all set.
