Just ordered a Winchester model 70 Featherweight in 7mm-08 for the kids. One of them will be old enough to go deer hunting for the first time this fall. I have a feeling they will have a hard time getting it from me. I am gonna put a Leupold VX-3 2.5-8x36 on it. Should be in next week.

Nice setup Stik, but I am pretty sure that is a Vari-X II. Vari-X III's, VX-III's, and VX-3's come in 3.5-10

Those Featherweights are sweet little guns. I love how trim the stock is, not to mention the CRF action.
 
Nice. Gotta love the featherweights. With your patience level, it is gonna be a long week.

VERY Nice

Really like the M-70 FWT's of all types. Just wish they hadn't messed with the trigger and made the stock a little thicker in the pistol grip area.
