South Carolina reporter shares interesting stories from Steve Spurrier's upcoming book

"After losing 45-42 against Tennessee on Nov. 1, he left his postgame press conference without answering a single question and had problems sleeping and remembering the code for his locker and phone numbers later that week. South Carolina's team psychologist diagnosed him with "acute stress disorder" and prescribed him sleeping pills, according to Spurrier.

Ooooookaaaaayyyyyy and ???????

Curious though, what is his all time record against TN? :tu:

Must people retire in life way before 70 years old?? His final year at the age of 70, he made what? 3 to 4 million dollars?? Not bad for a 70 year old man.... :)

All time record vs Butch? 0-3 :rotf: :rotf: :tu:

Has nothing to do with UF does it? :rotf: :rotf: :tu: :tu:

Oh I thought u meant while he was AT SC.... Didn't know he was still at UF

not surprising. I think he left Fla for the NFL because we beat them in 2001 in the game played at end of the year. He has a special hate for TN and I think it was agonizing to lose to us.

It always felt good to beat Spurrier. He always had jabs for TN, sometimes even if we were not playing them.

Trey there isn't nothing to UF, you finally got it right! :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

Sorry for you not being able to read very well.... But that isn't what my post said. :tu:

I said "has nothing to do with UF" meaning Butch is 3-0 against Spur. Heck Muschamp is 4-0 against TN but that has nothing to do with him at SC right?

Nothing in my original post said one word about UF Trey so no, it has nothing to do with UF. Butch is 3-0 against Spurrier at SC. Not bad for a guy that is a crappy coach against a "legend" like Spurrier.

For not having anything to do with UF tho, man you gator boys were all over it like a duck on a june bug.

I was asking what his all time record is vs TN but u wouldn't give the answer. Pretty sure he is above .500 about the Vo11s. Right??? :tu:

Like I said, no mention of UF in my post. You, a gator, the first to post, is trying to make it about the gators.

Why dont you tell us.

As GnB would say, its not how you start, its how you finish. And ol Stevie quit. A big part of that decision was because he had lost his last 3 games to the Vols.

Is that what he said???? The biggest reason I am retiring is because the Vo11s have beaten me three times in a row??? :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :tu:

Apparently he admits that after the Vols came back to beat him 45-42 at home, he basically had PTSD.

He probably didnt use your exact words tho.
