I found The Tree. It's a red oak. I might hunt it on opener depending on wind. Stand is hung 15 yards from the slew of fresh deer pellets and half eaten acorns. Wish I had found more than one The Tree, but this one will do. I have a few other spots I can hunt as well but this one looks really promising.

Anyone else found themselves a hot tree?
 
Half-eaten acorns are from squirrels. Deer swallow the whole thing and chew them later. Deer leave just the cap with a small notch cut in it.

I know, the squirrels leave the pieces or "cuttings" and deer chew the cud later. But the sheer amount of acorns this early in the year was pretty good. And the amount of fresh deer crap, in a relatively small amount of acreage.
