the new Conquest

have the reticle on the 2nd focal plane,,I havent used a scope like that hunting but have shot a couple,,seems like it would be an awesome feature on a deer rifle

I hear good things about the conquests. I just wish they weren't so bulky and heavy. I love their crosshairs.

Do you mean 1st Focal Plane (FFP)? All of my Conquests are 2nd focal plane. The reticle doesn't change size when the power is changed. A FFP reticle will change size when the power is changed.

Most hunting scopes are 2nd Focal Plane. Many tactical scopes have the FFP reticle.
