This past wednesday we had an accident on our way to Ontario in Eveleth, Minnesota. My brother's truck, my less than one year old new boat, motor and trailer are totaled. We are on our way home. I am posting from cellphone so I will post pictures later. Insurance should cover me a new boat, motor and trailer, I am hoping. No one was hurt (my nose was scratched) but we were lucky, it could have been tragic. We have been going ofr over 30 years and never have even had a flat tire. I guess we made up for it.

Thanks so much. When you see the pictures, the truck stoPped just a foot or so from going over a drop off to another road. Almost straight down, about 50'with a concrete wall at the bottom. About mile marker 60 on hwy 53 north. We were headed north, my brother dozed off and ran off the road through guard rail, centering a post made out of railroad ties. My boat did not look terrible but the adjuster looked at it about 30 seconds and said it was done.
We had stopped and slepted for an hour or so in superior, ws and right before it happened I ask my brother if he was ok and he said he was. He has never had an accident of anykind in his life and he drives over 200 days a year. shows it can happen to anyone.

If I get a new boat in a couple of weeks, I am going back in early september. Several we talked to said the fishing is great then and even if it is not as good as I have had every time I have ever been. Upper Minnesota and ontario Are most definitely "god's country". About my favorite place. The people are the nicest to.
