I don't know nothing about them but I know they were selling like hotcakes Fri at BPS.They was swamped and in the 1hr I was waiting to be waited on i seen 2 get purchased and numerous people ask to look/handle them.
 
I shot one with 410 shells and it would make a good rabbit.snake gun and the 45 would work on der and humans,,,nice survival weapon.

Handled ok for only having a 3" barrel?

I am not looking at it for long range accuracy, more for close quarters stuff if you know what I mean.................

I know a guy that had one of the first ones that hit the stores,shotshells would not eject after they were fired,it was sent back to the factory,haven't heard anything or if he even got it back yet.
 
There is an article about them in the latest American Rifleman magazine of the NRA. There is a new version that shoots 3" shotgun shells and also a new lightweight version of the 2-1/2" size. They mentioned that it is possible to load and fire a 3" shell in the one chambered for 2-1/2" shells but it would jam the gun and not extract. The 3" 000 buckshot shoots five pellets at 808 fps out of the 3" barrel for a total energy of 508 ft-lbs and five wound channels. Pretty devastating compared to most pistols.
 
My Dad had a Bersa .380. I was sure if he needed to use it, he would fumble it,so I bought him the Judge for his birthday in September. Knew it was just what he needed after I saw it on TV.

The thing is a beast.
I CCW a Glock 27,but am getting another one to keep in my truck.
Can't miss with it.
 
We shot his with the .410 shells.
It sprays shot, but at close range its going to stop anyone.

I would not want to carry one as a SD pistol.
I carry my .40 for that.
 
My Dad is 73 and is just what he needed.
He doesn't have semi auto experience,and I didn't want him to carry cocked and locked,or 1 in the tube with a Glock.
You just point and shoot .410 shot.

It's as well made as any other revolver I have ever shot.

It has to be used in a car, or in the home IMO.

Yes. The Rifleman article had a table with different loads tested and one was a 1/4 oz slug in a 2-1/2" shell. It goes 1125 fps for 318 ft-lbs of energy. They didn't list any 3" slugs. The rifling in the barrel is very shallow to allow for the shotshells and the accuracy with .45 Colt ammo wasn't that great. Most groups were around 5" at 25 yards, which isn't THAT bad, but not a target pistol.

I am confused, how far away do your attackers stay??

A knife in the hands of a well trained person is one of the deadliest weapons around.............and it doesn't run out of bullets.

I would think a .45 long Colt or .410 shot at 15ft. will slow somebody down in a hurry................NO??????

fulldraw. I keep the Judge in my truck in case a bad guy walks up to rob me. Blast him with it. It will drop him fast.
I'm not going to pull a knife.

Same with my Dad. If a bad guy enters his house, or he opens the door an a bad guy, he can use it for that. It's a point and shoot pistol.

im all about peoples right to carry a gun, but i think they let to many tom dicks and harrys carry loaded guns around. yall would know what i mean if you woulda seen these two fellers get in a fight and both pull there peices out and set them on the table and go at it. they both had their carry permints, i just think people ought to have to go through pshyc test or something before they can get their perments, because these dudes where waring their hearts on their sleeves and that coulda went to another level quick and both their lives woulda been ruind over something stupid.

An assailant with an edged weapon can cover 15 feet and inflict a mortal wound faster than most people could raise a handgun. If you are letting them get within 15 feet, you are already dead.

If my life is in danger, I will shoot to defend myself.

If a bad guy is doing the same thing in a mall, will a cop shoot his gun in that mall? I sure hope so.

watched the news earlier today and a guy pulled a gun on a lady at the mall over a parking spot. keep in mind this dude was totally legal had permints and what have you. THIS KINDA THING IS WHY I ACTUALLY POSTED EARLIER. THERE NEEDS TO BE A PSHYC TEST BEFORE YOU CAN GET YOUR PERMENT!!!!! if there was a test i think there would be alot fewer idiots that are walking around locked and cocked. im not saying you guys dont need to carry your guns whatever gives you piece of mind. dont think i was clear on my original post. but the pshyc test was what i was gettin at. people that dont know how to control their emotions and walk around with there heart on their sleeve dont need to carry a gun. nuff said about that.

I saw that in the news last night. Not good press for CCW'ers.

But it really has nothing to do with getting a permit.

A nut can pass a background check to buy a gun.
This had nothing to do with him having a carry permit.
People who should not own guns can easily buy them legally.
If not they can get them off the street.
 
I want to purchase the Jugde but have not been able to find the one I want in stock. They are very hard to come by. Apparently, they are in high demand.
