The clover is still there!
This is that 1 acre plot I have that joins Ft. Campbell!!
Mowed like a golf course…
No rain, no acorns
Drove up in here yesterday and there were 14 deer doing their best to eradicate my clover and they did not want to leave!.
I know where my jerky and blackstrap steaks are about to come from!
 
Makes no sense... my one plot with Balansa clover from last falls planting is STILL going strong as well. No way I would have thought any clover, much less an annual, would not be crispy dry brown at this point... and yes, the deer are HAMMERING it

Had Balansa added to my mix this year for first time. Anxious to see if it comes up after being in dirt for weeks

I put in 9 plots on 4 different farms. 3 look like they survive. I have about 1000 pounds of rye waiting to overseed but i wont load the cyclone spreader until i know its gonna rain
