Here are some pictures of some Eagle Soybeans, that shows the difference between beans being sprayed with roundup and a few spots I missed.

Do you see signs of browse pressure? It looks like your using the tape to keep deer out of the plots.

We have a double electric fence around it. No browse pressure except a little from what looks like it might be from a rabbit.

The fence has worked better than expected.

The outside electric tape is 18" off the ground. The two inside tapes are 12" and 24" off the ground. The two fences are 30" apart. We used 4' tee post at every corner and the cheaper step-in plastic post as needed. The charger is a 10 mile solar unit from tractor supply. I got the (5 strain stainless steel) electric tape off ebay really cheap.
 
Obviously you are using the fencing to keep the deer out so you can hunt over the field once the season rolls around. That being said, any concerns or consideration that by the time the deer are able to eat the beans they will already have grown their horns? I would love to be able to hunt over beans and know that we would need a minimum of 3-4 acre fields to with stand the browsing, which is somewhat of an issue for us. Being that most of our summer fields are b/w 2-3 acres I like the fence, but also want the bucks to get the protein.
Also, once you invest the money on the material year one, are their costs associated during the following years?
