The one I used was a little different. Same length handle but the rope was attached to it on both ends and you looped it around the deer's neck. Same principle. It does make dragging a little easier.

I made mine out of an old ski rope. It has single handle and about 6 feet of rope

it pulls about as easy as a deer drag, plus you can lift it into your truck and all teh blood stays right in the sled. I even used it to pull a two-person tree stand into the woods.

Of course., you have to be casrefull if the deer is too big!

Mine is just about 6 feet of webbing and 6 inches of 3/4inch PVC pipe. Works like a dream. If you can get the deer's front hooves up behind its ears and tied the webbing around front feet and neck you can really lessen the chore.

I have one called a snap dragem. You hook thru the nasal cavity on does or wrap around the antlers on bucks and it has a split ski handle. Works well and it will fit in your pocket. Got it years ago in AL. Think the company went out of business. Too bad. It's a good product .

yeah Glenn's Deer Drags Is a hell of a lot easier than the ole cut in between the leg bone and tendon

They work great using alone or with a helper. Lightweight and easy to pack in with a stand. Sure beats bending over and grabbing a handful of antler. Also easily made with a little rope and a short piece of PVC pipe.

I like this.............I have used a "cut on the spot" hickory stick and a rope, or a band like from a ratchet for years. Hickory is tough.
