Put an arrow in the big 8 this morning.
He ran about 30 yds, staggered, then just stood there forever. Took about 10 steps and just stood. Continued doing this until he walked over a ridge. He's bleeding low behind shoulder.
Got down after an hour, 3/4 of the arrow is broke off in him.
Backed out, now the waiting.........

Sounds like he is very sick. Give him a while and you will find him I bet. Good luck

hes hurt bad...watch the weather forecast and get in there an hour to two before the rain hits so you don't loose his trail...I don't think he will be far moving like that...good luck!!!

This shows how much of the arrow is in him.
Praying that I find him this afternoon.
Not much blood b/c of angle and no exit.

My best buck. Hit him low, should have waited 4 hrs instead of 2.
You are right about having a good neighbor.
Just very blessed, thank the Good Lord upstairs for this one.
Bonus pic with my best hunting buddy

Hit him right behind the shoulder. He was only 15 yards, I didn't factor enough angle, caught 1 lung. He was angled toward me. I rushed the shot b/c he looked right at me and I thought he was about to bolt.
