Sat on stand for 3 hours this morning to not even see a deer After dinner we (myself, wife, brother in law, sister in law, and niece decided to go hunting just before dark. My sister in law and niece had never been hunting so I decided we would all load up on the golf cart and go to the trusty power line in hopes of seeing a doe. Within minutes of parking and walking to the edge of the power line I noticed a doe at the bottom of the hill about 200 yards out. I decided to shoot her and she dropped in her tracks. We were all talking and I told everyone to hang tight because we might see another. Just a couple minutes later this 10 point comes into the power line about 25 yards past the doe. Needless to say it was a very eventful and short hunt. I had to be sure to let my sister in law and niece know that hunting isn't always this easy.

Congrats! reminds me of hunting with my son. No big ones yet but I have to keep telling him that hunting is not this easy, because when we go, we see deer within 5 minutes.
