Well, my 3 year old daughter wanted to go out hunting with my oldest daughter (10) and I last week. I figured with it being so windy and warm last Wednesday afternoon that would be a good time for here to go. This would be here first time on this farm and I figured she would at least get to see a doe or 2. Well she ended up seeing 5 bucks and several does. This guy came in chasing a doe and got downwind but hung around long enough for my oldest to put a bullet in the right spot. She has hunted hard this year and passed up several different bucks, including a a 2 year old 8 point with a droptine.

We had pics of the deer back in September but none since then. He weighed 178 lbs and is the 10th deer she has shot. Having both girls there was special and a memory we will have for a long time.

Awesome! Congrats to that young lady. The little one looks like she is about ready to get her first deer in a few years.

Yep, she shoots a .22 pretty well right now. If not next year, most definitely the year after. Her attention span just has to get a little better...

Congratulations offered for sure there! Looks like she is going to be a real hunter having already killed 10 deer by 10 years old. Best future wishes to the younger sister too! I understand about short attention spans myself - sometimes I've only been on stand for about 15 minutes when I start getting restless looking at the time. :shock:
