Filled one of my buck tags this morning on a nice public land 8pt. He was locked down with a doe in the cedar thicket I was hunting. It's been a good year for me as far as numbers go, but I've mainly seen smaller bucks up until this point. Saw one other shooter last week but it slipped under me right before legal shooting light.

I also got to break in my new gun that I bought from TNrifleman! Great guy to deal with btw.

Anyways, I'm going to jump in the bed and see if I can't put #2 on the ground in the morning. Goodluck to all and happy thanksgiving!
