Slow Cold start this morning. Saw a good size 5pt early, got tired of the current stand and decided to move to my shoot house about 400yards away. Got about half way there and saw a nice size 8pt walking down the wood line towards us. Froze there when he turnd broadside i put a 300mag threw his sholder. Afterwards we went to the shoot house and sat down, 20mins passed and a doe stepped out about 175yards out and my buddy mike fired drooping his first deer. He was useing my 7-08 encore. Perfect day in the woods.
