Food Plots Thanks Mother Nature

Hahaha. How many of you guys planted with all these rain days that were in the forecast last weekend and got hosed? I am just laughing at how I thought I timed it perfect and here I stand in a dust bowl with seed just getting cooked :bash:

I planted a brassica plot Sunday in Hope of rain. We got a little but probably not enough to even germinate. I'll hold off on my cereal grain until sept.

Got some brassica stands doing very well. It has rained here where I am a lot.

I planted beans and sunflowers a couple weeks ago so they would be up for the velvet hunt. They have gotten good rain and should be just about right. I will plant radishes and turnips this weekend and the rest of everything mid September. Too early to plant oats and wheat right now in my opinion.
