Had lunch at Thai Phooket in Nashville today. I had the steamed seafood. It had Shrimp,Squid,Crab,Scallop,Mussels,Napa cabbage and sprout noodles in a curry sauce. Served with Jasmine rice on the side. It had to be one of the best things I have ever had. Dang it was good. My date had Asparagus Shrimp. It was very good as well. I usually just get Pho but wanted to try something else and glad I did. Their Pho is fantastic as well.

If you like Thai food I highly recommend Thai Phooket. The service was great as well. They were very busy and the server was right on top of everything and very nice. They always give great service though.

I don't know of one in Rivergate, but the Thai Phuket right next to the Titan's stadium is top notch; best Thai food I've had in the entire state.

Don't let the used car lot appearance dissuade you; definitely some good food inside.

Tangent, but I had an interesting Vietnamese dish recently that you should look for on menus. It often goes by the name of "Vietnamese Omelette", but its sometimes called a "Vietnamese Pizza".

It is a egg and flour based omelette with a sweet taste, served folded over a filling of vegetables and shrimp. You have a side cup of fish sauce that you dip your pieces into, blending the sweet and savory flavors. EXCELLENT!

I have yet to find your Vietnamese BBQ sandwich. Nowhere I go has it on the menu.

The one by the stadium is very good, but if you want Thai food that is the same as going to someone's grandmother's house in northern Thailand you need to try the restaurant inside of King Market off of Haywood Ln/I-24 in Antioch.

Of all of the Asian foods, Thai is the most flavorful and natural tasting of all of the Asian foods IMO, and it is very easy to fix as well.

Guys in my office go to the one next to the titan's stadium often. They are picky about their food and they love it.

I predict a visit to Antioch in the near future...
