I got my order of VersaStraps in just in time for the Velvet hunt last week. I used them on my Hawk Helium sticks on a few different trees over the weekend. I love them! They are much lighter, quieter, and easier to use than the ratchet straps the come with the sticks. They're a bit pricey, but they are worth it to me.
 
Got mine Friday. Now I'm waiting on everything else Tethrd.. ugh

I feel ya! Took a long time for my March order to arrive. It was worth the wait though!
 
Would liked to tried them but bought amsteel ropes before straps came out,never used the straps that came with heliums.
 
Just climbed a tree for the first time with them or any saddle stuff for that matter.. worked great on the sticks but the top of the predator platform kept creeping off the tree.

I use the Podium for my platform, so I have no hands on with the Predator. I think you need to make sure it is folded, strap tight, pull whole assembly down, fold out platform to get it stable. Check out their videos on YouTube to get some examples.
