this pack as been my daily deer hunting pack for a few years. I find it to be a fantastic pack thats easy to attach to a climber or just use stand alone. Great get for someone.

Here is the measurements of the pockets. I don't think you will be able to stuff jacket or bibs in pocket but does have outside straps to strap them on top of the pack and below the pack. That is how I carried my bibs and jacket.

yeah I strap a coat to the top straps and then a shirt or coat to the bottom straps all the time.

Yes it has shoulder straps they can not be taken off
