I had to give up shooting a bow and use a crossbow for 2 years because of it. I am now back to shooting a bow again. I still have a little pain every now and then though. I have a gel compression brace I wear when I start having pain and it takes care of it.
Nope never played tennis but i've got a case of football shoulder if that counts. Still shoot a bow though...it hurts if i pull a lot of weight over and over so i just limit myself.
I had it so severe I could not lift a can of beer. Had a procedure called a tendon release done. Back shooting at 100% in 30 days and totally pain free. Hasn't bothered me since. Wish they could do that for my shoulder and neck.
Broke my arm pitching and had a metal rod placed inside the bone from the shoulder to elbow and screwed in place. I done the rehab faithfully with the bands and now pulling 80pounds with no problems. As for tennis elbow the only therapy I know of is rest or cortizone shots. That's what the doctors told me.

I have suffered tennis elbow in both arms over the past 3 years. Two cortisone shots in left elbow cured it, and one cortisone shot in right elbow cured it. If I move my arm a certain way it the nagging pain reminds me that it is still there slightly and can return at any time.
