Since I got bounced from Y12 Quota Hunt this year I am looking for some new ground to putz around in. Any advice on the Telico WMA from the board? I called TWRA and really got nothing straight concerning the size of the deer herd, hunting opportunities etc. Any help is appreciated.

There's definitely some deer there, gets a ton of pressure from opening day of muzzleloader til end of deer season though (especially weekends). McGhee Carson unit is for juvenile draw hunts only, Wears Bend unit is the part open with statewide seasons. Good luck to you if you hunt it and be prepared to bump into other hunters.

You will be more successful if you can access by the water. The other hunters will push them to you.
