arrrrrgggg....... I have a lost lake just like it.. except mine was a fresh break from a backhoe... I searched for the broke part for hours... very nice anyway!!!

Im looking into getting it restored.....yea you can do that, just not sure if I want to spend the $$$, may get a cast made of it though. Its ALMOST the best piece Ive ever found.

Where the break is it APPEARS that the edges have been re-worked.
In other words it appears the edge doesn't go straight down through the thickness of the point as it would unless it has been re-worked.

A side view of the break would tell for sure.

In my opinion, while of course a perfect point is what you want, one that has been re-worked means someone used it (perhaps shooting or throwing it at game or an enemy) and broke it then got it back and fixed it so it would not be wasted and could be used again.
To me that is pretty neat that thousands of years later you can hold it in your hand.

Dunno if that makes any sense but there ya go.
