I use 250 grain shockwaves with 2 -50 grain pellets. They hold tight groups out of my remington. There is a differece in the way Shockwaves are packaged. The black sabots have 3 petals and a smaller base for loose powder and smaller loads. The Yellow sabots have 2 petals and a deeper base for pellets and magumun loads.
I have found the yellow sabots do seem to group alittle tighter out of my gun.

I wish the packages were clear about the differences. I ended up with both and had to do considerable research figuring out the differences with different colored tips and sabots.

I use the yellow and shot very good out of my tradition persuit but when I was shooting a knight I had the same problem it ended up being the scope just an ideal

The yellow sabot is the easier load sabot. The black sabot is supposed to be a tighter fit. I have shot both and liked the black sabot better with loose Blackhorn 209.
