TC scope and rings combo

Cost 44$ walmart. I normaly dont buy cheap optics like this but a buddy of mine loves his. He says he dropped his gun last year real hard and it still holds its zero. He has sighted it in once and he can pull it out of hos closet and shoot it dead on at 100 yrds anytime he wants to. If this deal is to good to be true I am buying me one. Anyone else have this combo? Help . I was fixing to buy talley mount and bushnell scope but at this price and quality supposed to be that good I will buy the combo for 44$Anyone ele tried this?

I havent looked at it but it cant be too great for 44 dollars. Just saying.

I bought one in 2007 when I bought my Omega simply because I didn't have time to order a scope that I wanted. It's not great but it worked. It's on my .22 now. It held it's zero for the 3 years that it was on there but I never dropped it or abused it.

I upgraded to a Bushnell Trophy XLT last year.
