Well I picked one of these up at the gun shop the other day it felt really good how many guys on here like them. I even like the idea of possibly switching the barrel out

Switch the barrel out to a smokeless .45 and you'll never look at muzzleloading the same again.

Thanks where can you get a trigger from? What is the average price on a pro hunter? I know the barrels are pretty high about $350 but I would still like to try one.

Shop around for barrels, I have bought on Gunbroker.com for $100 less that that for a pro hunter. If you have patience you can get them for even less. If you like blued ones those are everywhere.

ive got an encore (not the prohunter tho) and i love it. thats 1 gun that will never have a price tag on it.

I called a local shop they got a stainless pro hunter for $630
