TC is discontinuing sidelock MLs

Saw this on another forum.

End of an era I guess. While I was never a big fan of their styling, they were a well made American product with a good warranty.

I've got 8 T/C sidelocks, 4 Renegades, 2 Hawkens, a Seneca, and an Express. Always wanted a White Mountain carbine but never found one in the right shape at the right price.

Hate to hear they're completely out of the traditional business.

honestly didn't know they were still making them. I have a New Enlander my father gave me over 21 years ago. Killed a few deer with it, but haven't hunted with it in years.

TC was the start to many peoples muzzleloading adventures.I still use them for plinking and hunting.I own a couple of Hawkens and a Renegade or two.For the price you could not beat them,however they had gotten a little expensive over the past few years($600+)Still I hate to see them go.But all the more reason to build a nice flinter.
