TC FX or XT?

I am going to get a new Muzzy for this year. I had horrible luck with a CVA Optima and it cost me two wall hanging bucks last year alone. First the spring that holds the hammer got stuck while a 140ish class 9 pt was broadside at 75 yards. Got that fixed and then the gun misfired on another buck two weeks later.

With all that said I am looking at getting a TC Encore FX or XT. Are the only differences in the two is that one will take interchangeable barrels?

What do you guys think?

What u mentioned didnt sound like the gun. First sounds as if it was dirty and corroded around the spring, gotta clean it, and the miss fire aint the gun its the powder or primer, or moisture issues, been there done than, its not the gun
