Did they change it?Last time I bought a gun at BPS they just put my info in a computer and it instantly told them that I was okay to purchase,no waiting or killing time in the store was done right then.The last gun before that I had to wait 3 hours for them to call back,and the gun before that,never has it been so fast!

It depends on the time it takes TBI,as in how many are calling in at that time.
Can be quick or slow.
I have had each happen,but never more then 20 mins.
And they never had to call back.
The last 2 shotguns i bought had to go through the same BG check.
I wondered when that started? I thought at one time it was limited to hand guns.
Maybe not.
