Anyone know of decent taxidermists in the Waverly-Dickson-Ashland City-west Nashville area? I have a couple of bucks I need mounted and lost my old taxidermist (he went out of business). I'm not looking for the finest art, but at least decent work at a reasonable price.
 
There is a guy over in Southside (Not too far from Ashland City) called Trails End Taxidermy 931-387-1132 he has done a few for friends of mine and does good work.
 
Had one in Fairview, Josh Laws(sp). He went out of business, but I believe he's back to doing it again. I will try and find his info this weekend. He did really good work.

Shoulder Mounts start at $300 without plaque. I will PM you.
 
Wallace processing in Waverly. He has done one for me and several for my friends. Wait time is usually about 12 months. Last I heard it was $350.

He did one for me last year & the mount looks good IMO

i have used 8 different taxidermists. i found my last one. so many horrible mounts show up on this site. be very careful bsk, i have been burnt several times on really nice deer

x2 and some of those taxidermist at show up on here as recommendations. not going to name any names but I have seen some very terrible mounts. so be careful

And that's why I'm asking the question on here! I don't want to get burnt! I too have seen pictures of mounts on this website that made me shake my head...
