Any suggestions for a Taxidermist in Middle Tennessee? Some ballparks on prices would be nice too. First time ever getting one mounted and am wanting to get my best buck to date done. Wanting good quality but don't want to break the bank in the process with it being this close to Christmas.

$425 is what i paid.I't will be ready in 8 months so you don't have to worry about paying for it right now but i guess all Taxidermist is that way.I pay a little bit every month that way it doesn't seem as bad.
 
Just remember that taxidermy is definitely something that you get what you pay for, lost cost usually means low quality

Not sure how far you want to drive, but I've recently used Nemo Hill's Taxidermy in Petersburg, Marshall County. (Tim Hill) I can send you his cell # if you want to talk to him.

I think my shoulder mount looks pretty good. It was $385. I paid $100 deposit and the remainder when it was done. It took 10 months.
 
Trophy Ridge Taxidermy in Castilian Springs, I was very impressed with his work. A little foggy on pricing, wanting to say it was $450 with the wooden plaque on the back.

P.S. don't be turned off by the low star rating on Facebook. If you go read the reviews all of the 1* reviews are from people posting things such as "stop the evil killing of these innocent animals." All of his actual reviews from customers are good.

Wildlife mounting services in Centerville does exceptional work. Think he was around $375.

Just took a deer to Buffalo River Taxidermy in Lawrenceburg. This will be my first mount with him but his displays in his shop and online looks great. He is only $320 with 50% down

He just mounted this turkey for me. He does good work.

Cripple Creek Taxidermy outside of Murfreesboro. Jamie Morehead is a Christian man and does awesome work. Check out his website at Cripple Creek Taxidermy. He does all of my mounts and very affordable.

I gave my KY buck to AT hiker for a Euro mount....he showed it to me on Saturday when I stopped in to make a payment......his work is awesome, he does it right!!!
