ok what does everybody think about this dry preservative
compared to tanning

I know that my taxidermist uses tanning rather than freeze drying. I would be very leery about anything else.

Any good taxi tans or sends the hides out to be tanned.Most shy away from dry preservative.Freeze drying is for velvet horns,turkey heads,ect.

I do not dry preserve my customers deer but have before and if properly done there is nothing wrong with it I have seen mounts that actually lasted better than a tan
