Well, looks like one of my "cheapie" cams has bit the dust. It gave fantastic service from July to just a week or so ago. I think the below zero temps may have been a factor in it's demise. But, the others are still working. Sending it back per the 2yr warranty that it has from factory today. Just thought I'd report the good with the bad. ;)

Good info. I bought one back at the first of the season too. It did really good for me and kept the first set of batteries the whole season. I took my cams out near end of season, but I hate to hear about yours. Do you hang yours high in the tree or eye level? I've been having a lot of discussions about if I'm scaring the deer with it at eye level....Thanks for the feedback.

For white flash and IR cams, I do put them up above angling down on the area being surveiled. I have yet to save up enough money to try a true blackflash! :D Now I did have another experience with a mature buck sneaking into range, then leaving when the cam snapped the first pic. I got his head coming around a tree within 3 ft of the cam, that was only about 9-10 ft high.

I've purchased several of these cams that are still out and working fine so far. At $50, I really couldn't complain if they each only lasted a year tho. But as of yet I'm very satisfied. I should have another report on Bushnells cust ser for the faulty one I just sent off in about 3-5 weeks. ;)
