Don't know how the tariffs will effect the price of cameras. Can't be good though.
Batteries? The lithiums i buy come from Japan. Price has been the same at Sam's for a couple years. Stocked up today. Little less than $2 each. Don't see them getting any cheaper.

Outsourcing all manufacturing in the USA has put this Country in dire straits. Folks wanted cheaper products because unions wanted not only the pie & cake, they wanted everything in between. Now this Country is at risk unless we bring manufacturing back. When you depend onsomeone else and they cut you off, they own you! The word DEMORAT screams "INFLATION".

The problem with bringing manufacturing back is who will do the jobs? A lot of young people today are not going to do factory jobs. Some will but, the majority won't. I've mostly done factory work since I graduated high school. That is until I went to Machinist school. I've done that for about 10 years now.

And that will be our downfall and end. Laziness.

Unfortunately manufacturing probably won't come back here, because the unions will step in, and like they always have first they want a piece of the pie, then they want half of the pie, then they want the whole pie, then they want the pie pan, then they want the person that make the pie, then they want they equipment that makes the pie, then they want the build where the lie is made, and on and on and on. Then prices going up due to these high union wages requires non-union manufacturers and other businesses to up there wages so their employee can survive. So no, manufacturing of anykind will not come back here, and as long as Countries like China, Mexico, Vietnam, Taiwan, India, Pakistan, etc produce product cheaper, they will have the market.

Exactly correct

Actually no, they don't know wtf they're doing. And yes you're right, inflation will be the result. Worse...a full blown recession.
Yeah you're right. Joe and Kam really were business savvy while they ran things. 🙄 Pretty first world problems pontificating about wildlife cameras and batteries going up 10%. It took along time to get us in this trade mess and yet chronic complainers with zero business acumen are clutching their pearls 100 days into fixing it. The greatest generation stormed Normandy and had no way to contact their loved ones except written letters and yet we have people crying over their Chinese junky electronics going up in price . Pretty soft.
