This deer showed up last year just before season went out. Found his sheds in the spring and hoped he'd stick around. He showed up on cameras in velvet and I knew he was gonna be a good one. Got to lay eyes on him one evening and knew this was the deer I wanted. Made the decision it was him or nothing. I took a month off for deer season and started hunting him on November 10th. He bounced around on cameras without any kind of pattern and no sightings. 27 days later he finally stepped out in front of me at last light. Started as a 12 point but ended up with 11 scorable points.

Awesome! I actually find my favorite seasons are when I have one really nice buck and he is the only one I'm hunting.

Interestingly, he looks like he has a tiny body, did you get a weight?

about 15 years ago, we had what looked like a 140in 8pt 4.5 y/o. We hunted him hard and finally killed him. He was 4.5, but a total midget... weighed 160lbs as a 4.5 y/o, short legs, short frame. And he only scored 130". His tiny body made his rack look huge in pictures.
