I think this has been explained before but refresh my memory. Scenario...
I shoot a buck at dark but can't find a blood trail and plan on looking again in the morning. I go climb into a stand for a morning hunt and another buck comes by and I drop him. (This would be my second buck for the season). I climb down and go looking for the buck I shot the day before. I find him. Now I have 2 bucks to check in. Is this legal. If it is do you check 1 buck for the day before and the other for today?

That is a scenario that is open to some interpretation and does not have a black and white answer. The best policy would be to look for the first buck prior to hunting on day 2. If is found, check with the local officer or the regional office to see what day the want for the check in. If they want it checked on the day it is found, it would not be legal to kill another buck that day.
