Tagged Out

I started hunting about 20 years ago. I've had opportunities to tag out on younger bucks and have always passed. I was blessed to kill a 7pt on the ML opener. Saturday in Hardeman Co was on fire. I pretty much had deer on me all day. This 8 with a small bump that some might call a point showed up. I had about 5 seconds to decide whether to shoot or pass. High shoulder shot dropped him in his tracks. God blessed me with 2 deer this season. My freezer is full, so the does are safe. But it's kind of sad knowing that things have already come to an end for the season. Good luck guys and gals!

Congrats on a nice buck! I know that is bitter sweet. It would kind of be disappointing to know that your season is already over. I couldn't have passed on that buck either though. Maybe you could take a young kid on a hunt or 2 just to get out in the woods.

I live in East Tn. Just get to hunt one or two weekends a year in Hardeman. I could still take a few does, but my freezer is full. Gonna watch football and take my 7 year old daughter shooting.
