Well after putting lord knows how many hours in the stand this year my season came to an end this morning. I was bow hunting public land when this guy came in bumping a doe. I know he's not a shooter in most eyes but I've worked hard for this one and I'm happy with him especially for a public land bow kill....It was a great finish, to an awesome season!

Congrats! He was a shooter in your eyes and that's all that counts. BTW, I would've shot him to.

congrats on a nice buck. what part of the state you in. just curious cause he was following a doe.

Thanks guys! It was in Lincoln/Franklin. Saw a lot of bucks on the move today . I actually had another smaller buck come in after I shot this one and trailed the doe he was behind.

Crazy thing is I had a pack of coyotes run by me chasing a group of deer not 10 minutes before I shot him. I ended up seeing close to 20 deer! Three of them were bucks.

Yesterday. Also with a bow. 4.5+ years old. His rack didn't quite match his body. He had also broken his main beam past his G2 but it was on his left side. He had super long brows

Man that's a public land late season bow kill, I've never even killed a deer on true public land with any weapon, congrats on a great trophy

Bullcrap he's not a shooter! Don't let anybody affect your accomplishment. As long as you are proud of what you kill he's a shooter!

Bow on public land is even more impressive.

Don't talk like that. Like you have to live up to someone's standards.
