Well in all honesty you shot it "thinking" it was a buck right?

Big Game Check-In
1.
Big game animals shall be checked in at
any approved TWRA checking station,
on the TWRA website or by the TWRA
mobile application before leaving the state
or being gifted to another, and before the
end of the calendar day. Evidence of the
big game animal's species and sex must
be available for inspection by TWRA
personnel until the animal is checked in.
After check-in, documentation on approved
TWRA forms or TWRA mobile application
shall be available for inspection by TWRA
personnel until time of final processing. This
documentation of a confirmed check-in
shall accompany any big game animals
taken to a taxidermist or meat processor.
Evidence of the animal's sex, species and
antlered status (if applicable) must remain
with the animal while afield

The way that reads to me is that TWRA is concerned about the SEX of the animal and not the Antlers. Antlers do not make a Male Buck. Sex organs do! Antler status is just a way of filing them.

Its a Doe in my opinion and I would check it in as a Doe. They would have to site me for failure to comply and we would go see the judge about that. Maybe Arkansas Law is worded differently?

The limits are for antlered and non-antlered, it doesn't say male or female. The same as a button buck
being checked in as non-antlered. You will still only be able to kill one more antlered deer. But if
horns are what you are after, what's the big deal? The rack wasn't bad. Brings a whole new meaning to "look at the rack on her".

I know it was doe. The regs say antlered or non-antlered . The limit is for antlered or non.
It doesn't say buck or doe.
