T/C Shockwaves

Who shoots em, I always have shot Hornady XTPs but they dont shoot like I want em too in my Pro Hunter, thinking of changing to Shockwaves?

I would use the bonded 250gr shockwaves out of your prohunter, dont use the yellow tipped shockwaves (or atleast i will never use them again). Try this load- 250gr bonded shockwave, 105 gr of blackhorn 209 with winchester 209's.This load produces less than 1 inch 3 shot groups at 100 yards for us and the blackhorn 209 is very consistent and you wont have to swab the barrell but after 8-10 shots!The shockwave will load very easy in your prohunter aswell!Good luck!

Yep, the blue tipped are the bonded.After using blackhorn, you will NEVER even think about using 777 again!

I shoot the 300 gr shockwave in my T/C Black Diamond and they are very accurate.

On the range today: 250 grain shockwave, 3 - 50 grain 777 pellets, Remington Kleen bore primer.

3 shot group - 1.5" @ 100 yards (1.5" because the holes were large}

I used to shoot the 250 grain shock waves in my CVA with 150 grains of Pyrodex pellets with good results. I killed a lot of deer with this combo. I got the itch for a new gun and bought a used Prohunter last year right before the opener. I did not have time to tweek loads so I stuck with what it was lined up with. I shot it this past Sunday with 150 grains of 777 and 250 grain shockwaves. It shot around a 1.5" if not better group at 100 yards. I will be switching.

I shot the bonded ones for a few years and had good results with them. Didnt get very big exit holes but never lost a deer either. This year Im going to try the 250grain Barnes expanders.
