Picked up a new T/C Endeavour yesterday and was wandering what load combos would work best? It's a .50 cal 28" fluted barrel! I shot a knight disc extreme before with 2 50gr 777 pellets and powerbelts and the accuracy past 80-90yds was very inconsistant! Hoping to have much better results with my new muzzleloader! THANKS!!
 
I would be really surprised if that Endeavour would outshoot a knight disc extreme. Pellets and powerbelts could have been your problem. To be accurate at long range you need to find your guns sweetspot as far as powder loads and use a pretty snug fitting sabot. That is my opinion anyway.

Dang, you just picked up a Matthews Monster and an Encore Endeavour! Sweet gear...
 
I recommend reading some of the testing done with the Encore at www.prbullet.com. I also recommend not using Powerbelts (I know they are easy to load). I would also suggest using loose powder versus pellets and work up a load that your gun likes. I have a Knight Disc Extreme also and it is a tack driver. I recently purchased a .50 cal barrel for my Encore and used the items and techniques from www.prbullet.com and honestly believe it shoots as well as my Knight Disc Extreme. This is all my opinion and you can take it for what it is worth.

I don't have the Endeavor, I have the Triumph Bone Collector which I had to return to T/C because I couldn't get the gun to shoot to POA. When i got the gun back, it still would not shoot to POA. It appeared to me and my lovely wife that the barrel was not straight. I contacted the Repair Manager and told him of my problem. He told me to return it and he would personally get the problem resolved. Two days after they received my gun, Mr French called me and said they were sending me a new gun, that indeed the barrel was not straight. I received the gun and a box bullets, plus he has promised me a new spare breech plug. I put a new Nikon Monarch 2.5 x 10x 42 scope on it. With a lazer bore sighter, I only had to make 3 clicks left and it was bore sighted. With the old gun, I tried 3 different scopes and couldn't get it to shoot straight. Once this rain moves out, I'm going to shoot it. I have always heard T/C had good serice, and even though it took a little bit of communication, they have been very good. The final proof will be at the range. I love the balance and eay cleaning of this gun. I would think the Endeavor would be a very good gun also, but I didn't want to put the extra money into it. The regular Triumph to my knowledge has a wonderful reputation for realability. good luck!!!
