I've recently traded for a Encore Pro Hunter that had aluminum rings and mounts so I'm replacing them with good steel ones. Question is, with this MZ do I need quick release scope rings to assist with cleaninng chores? I've not shot this rifle so I don't know what kind of an ordeal it is to clean one. Is it going to be very helpful to have the scope out of the way, or not really so important. I've had Leupold quick release mounts on my other MZ's and they really helped when doing the "hot soapy water" type cleaning. The QR rings and base setup is about twice the cost of the standard rings/bases, so that is another consideration. Your experienced opinions please.

No need to remove anything dealing with your scope to clean it.
I would HIGHLY recommend you try some Thompson Center Number 13 bore cleaner as well.
Awesome stuff.

Also got the Talley one-pice. I looked around for a while and imo they were the best out there, for the money. Gave around $50. Also have a regular encore and its a breeze to clean, I had the gun for 4 years(gift) and never used it because I didnt want to have to fool with cleaning it. I imagine the Pro hunter is even better, because of the speed breech. Thats the most time consuming part of it.
