Have any of you heard anything bout the T/C Encore Pro Hunter? Positive or negative please let me know. Think I may be goin to get one next week unless hear somethin bad bout em...?

My hunting buddy just traded his TC Omega on one, we shot it today and I really like it but didn't group any better than my Omaga. Would be nice to change barrels as seasons change.

Would be good to hear some feedback about the accuracy of the Encore. Is there anything about it,that would cause it to group any better? I would not think there is.

I have an Omega and am very impressed with it.
I am not a fan of changing barrels myself.

But the Encore is the coolest looking ML on the planet IMO.
It looks great,and no doubt shoots great also.

TC makes some great guns.
 
As far as Black Powder, Pyrodex, 777, etc guns go, this gun is at the top of the heep. But.............for the money, I would go smokeless and have no where near the mess and clean up issues.

I love the look and style and accuracy of the gun, but once again..................smokeless is sweet. For less money.

You may have found a good combo that shoots well in yours, he may need to find his yet. Not all loads work the same in different guns or same brand and make for that fact. Each barrel has its own sweet spot.

Agree. To say all Optimas shoot better groups than all other
TC Encores,and not a true statement.

Many other variables enter into this including the shooter,the scope, powder, bullet, etc.
 
Just got my new Pro Hunter Endeavor and shot it today. With 100 grains of Pyrodex pellets, 250 gr shockwaive bullets at 100 yards got 1/4 inch group. At 50 yards, cut holes on each shot.

With a 100 grains of Jim Shockey Gold got 6 inch group at 50 yrds and didnt even waste my bullets or time at 100 yards. Recommend no one waisting their money on this stuff. It is horrible.
