The wheat might be ok until the switch grass is established but the switch grass will soon over take the wheat. Switch grass will continue to thicken and expand by root and seed as nutrients allow however it is slow to do this and the wheat will serve a purpose in the interim. The way to look at this is to establish the switch grass as a screen or even a bedding area and use the winter wheat as a winter food plot cover. Under the right conditions switch grass will get tall and dense, to a degree where you might want to burn it off every couple of years.

I would do them separately but right next to each other, using the switch as a screen around the plot. Deer won't eat the switchgrass. The wheat will need to be replanted each year, while the switch can last 10+ years.
