let me say if you plan on growing any of this in your herb garden, then i would put this stuff in a large pot. two plants of this stuff will spread out to cover 15 sq feet, and if you decide to pull it up you better get all the roots cause they will sprout back.

but it is good in drinks, sauces and on pork. a highly underused herb imo.

Twenty five years ago, here in CO, a friend brought me a Dixie cup of mint plants. They quickly spread, had to pull a bunch but still have about a 3 X 2 ft stand, all fm the original dixie cup. Love mint in tea or coffee! Ray

Got some chocolate peppermint growing in a nook in the side of our house. About a 6x6 foot area of sprawling mint next to the garbage bin. Once in a while, it is good to use for something but I rarely use it. Smells very good though. I have a feeling it will never be removed from there... mint is very persistent.

Exactly right...mint is as useful in providing great flavor to dishes as garlic is, just no one does it. One of my favorite dishes of all time is potatoes and mint.

I make adrink with crushed leaves in water and add stevia makes a refreshing drink. I transplanted it to an area near a creek. Should have lots next year.
