It seems like every time I use a climber, I end up dripping sweat by the time I'm all settled in. I will climb in just my t-shirt and put the rest on in the stand but I still sweat buckets. I don't know if I'm climbing wrong or what the deal is. Anybody else deal with this and if so, and suggestions in fixing it? I never look forward to freezing all day or allowing that much scent out.

Just take your time. I don't have that problem but i always dress take my jacket or sweat shirt off and take my time. And on your walk in take your time and maybe stand a few minutes at the base of your tree to kind of cool off from your walk. I think that should help.

Take your time and if you don't own one, find yourself a shirt that Wicks away your sweat. The key to wearing this layer is not to put anything like cotton on top of it. if you do, the cotton absorbs the sweat and you get cold quick. Hope it helps!

Are you like me and slightly over weight? No lack of clothing can compensate for that.

Try practicing at home to get you in shape.i have my son climb in the back yard to build up his muscles. When he first started i noticed he sweated quite a bit but now he hardly sweats at all.

I, too am overweight, and I sweat like crazy whether it's hot, cold, or whatever. But, I had a brother-in-law that was in really good shape, in the military, and still would sweat like crazy any time he exerted himself. Some people are just prone to producing more sweat than others. About all you can do is dress down and use more antiperspirant than the average person. I like Arm & Hammer unscented really well. The Aarid unscented stuff works almost as well.

No joke, the under shirt with moisture wicking does a great job. I sweat just because it is in my genetics, but that shirt sure does help cool me down and control the sweat and scent

Take your time and invest in a good base layer. I sweat like crazy too, and I'm in pretty good shape. More importantly, get a base layer that has a 1/4 zip collar so that you can better ventilate your chest. I also wear a very lightweight hat and switch to my heavy weight beanie once I'm settled in my stand and have cooled off.

Hey man I use the bass pro version of the under armor long handles that are scent free and wick sweat away that works really good for men ever thought it would but it definitely makes a difference

I am in pretty good shape and was I the military as well. I guess it's just something ill have to get used to. I always strip down to just my UA for the climb and then add layers in the stand. Do y'all take off the UA after it is soaked? I believe I'll just have to get to the woods a bit earlier to take my time more.
