Surprise testing fly line

I have a three-week old Five weight flyrod and a new sink-tip line I wanted to try, but I didn;t have time to head to the Caney. So I drove down to Old HIckory Dam to make a few casts from shore. I caught this guy on my sixth cast, and later caught a couple small smallmouths.

Test passed.

Nice catch... seems all the LM bass below OH are skinny, all the ones I caught are too... guess they can't compete with the cats and other bigger predators. The carp were skinny down there too.... But either way, it's a nice catch and I wouldn't expect to see someone fly fishing down there. You should catch some skipjack on the fly

I've caught many skipjack on fly. Also catfish, white bass, hybrids, strippers, drum, all kinds of bass and brim.
