If I had a pic of that buck, he'd be on my "hit" list. Those are some very unique antlers, and that "uniqueness" is much of which makes any antlers more special to me.
While I admit to a little speculation here, imo, this just goes to show what even a "spike" buck can become if allowed reach the age of 4 1/2 or older. (I would speculate this buck was a "spike" when he was 1 1/2 years old, and a very "below average" little rack as a 2 1/2. Which is why no one had much issue with simply letting him walk.)
