To go fishing today.

Pretty cool outside but the wind has died down.
I am sure this cold front has given all the fish lockjaw too.

Sure do want to go though.

Fishing for trout? Or for bass/bream/crappie?

My guess is that trout aren't really affected by the cold water. Trout prefer colder water to warmer water, which is why you only find them in lakes around here during winter.

As to weather the cold front/barometric pressure/etc affects them...I don't know. I suppose it does, just as it affects the rest of us.

Go fishing and let us know .

Yep it would have been rough out there yesterday for sure.

Omelet with two biscuits COVERED in honey ! It was SOOO good !!!

Ruger , you get a chance look and see if that tip section to my rod is laying out there at the side of the street. I took my bundle of rods out of the truck to put your stuff in there and then layed my rods back in. I have looked all over the place here and can't find it.

Figure it might have slid out when I picked them up and layed in the boat to get yours in the truck. It may have been in the boat and blowed out on the way over after picking you up.
Nothing unusual for me , I usually loose or break something every trip.
Did get restocked on little Cleo's and some bouyants that I havevn't seen before.
Got them at FishUSa.com. Cheaper than any place I have found.

What kind of Cleos? What size/color, etc. I am going to the White later this month. Might pick some up.

Moondawg. Little Cleo's in gold/red. 2/5 and 1/4 oz That was the hot lure for us. Until we finally lost all of them. Then went to red/gold Thomas bouyants in 1/4 oz.

Cool. I will be fishing downstream from the Bull Shoals Trout dock. Might try some Cleos.
